The clients who stay with us for 2-7 years are those who are willing to do these 3 things.
/I’ve been noticing a trend lately between my clients who stay with us for the long term and those who stay with us for the short term. It goes without saying that our clients are free to stay with us for as long as they want and our clients can give their one month notice at any time with no explanation. Life is life. Things happen and things change.
However, I just wanted to share something that I’ve noticed with you.
In May a few clients abruptly cancelled their Curriculum Packages with me and I am going to tell you why.
Two clients weren’t seeing the results that they wanted to see and they cancelled their Curriculum Packages. They both had an expectation of what they wanted their child to be able to do and because they were not having the results that they wanted, they decided to just stop. A child’s learning development is never linear. If fluctuates. Even my top performing students have their ups and downs. They have days where they do exceptionally well and they have days that they fail badly. They have days where they are super excited about their learning and they have days where they do not want to see another book.
Not having the results you want is not a reason to stop. It’s actually a reason to keep going. As a society in general, we want to see results immediately and it just doesn’t work that way. Especially not when it comes to 2 and 3 year olds!
One client’s daughter got into one of his schools of choice (not the top school of choice) and he decided to stop his curriculum package. After all it’s now down to the school to prepare his daughter for her 11? Again, it doesn’t work that way.
The clients who stay with us for 2-7 years are those who are willing to do these 3 things…
They are willing to trust in the process.
They are willing to put in the work themselves of supporting their children and not leaving it to anyone else to do so.
They understand that even when they don’t see the results, they know that all of their hard work and effort IS making a difference to their child’s life.
